Record 1.25m visit the Castle

EDINBURGH Castle has again attracted a record number of visitors, reaffirming its position as Scotland’s most visited paidentry attraction.

According to figures released today by Historic Scotland, 1,249,332 people visited the Castle in the last year.

The figures represent a three per cent rise compared to the previous 12month period.
