Helicopter company invests £70m
A North Sea aviation company has announced it has invested £70m on six new helicopters to service offshore oil installations.
Bristow Helicopters will use the six Sikorsky S92 aircraft to carry passengers from Scatsta Airport in Shetland.
The new fleet will replace the firm’s Tiger helicopters at Scatsta and increase its passenger capacity.
The six helicopters will make 75 trips in total each week.
