Computer firm expands west
A COMPUTER support business which started in Edinburgh only three years ago is expanding with a new base in Glasgow.
Hamish Robertson started his computer support firm after leaving university. Now the 24yearold entrepreneur expects a turnover of nearly £200,000 this year.
The businessman, who lives in Restalrig, said: "My business had grown steadily from a turnover of £21,000 in year one to £79,000 in year two and I expect to do £180,000 this year. Our bread and butter is monthly contracts."
He predicts he will see a turnover of around £350,000 in his fourth year of business.
The business has developed from using subcontractors to three fulltime staff. When the Glasgow operation begins, another two fulltime staff will be brought on board.
