Jobs created by £4m loch project
Thirty jobs are set to be created as construction work begins on a £4m bar and restaurant project on the banks of Loch Lomond.
The fourstar development, which is being spearheaded by former welder Ally McKever, will include 13 holiday lodges for rental.
Mr McKever, who set up the McKever Group in 1990, said the scheme would complement Balmaha’s natural beauty.
He added that the development would "appeal to locals and tourists alike".
"I can promise the finish will be superb our architects and designers are planning lots of wood, slate and glass, and it will be stunning," said Mr McKever.
The multimillion pound project will result in the Highland Way Hotel being demolished.
