Asda store is backed

A £10 MILLION Asda superstore in Banff yesterday won the backing of councillors.
An Aberdeenshire Council committee ignored advice from senior officials, who had urged politicians to reject the scheme. The outlet is expected to bring up to 250 jobs to the area.
